How it works
1. Connect & Discover
Before I take your photographs, I want to get to know you.
I like to start with a relaxed conversation, usually over a coffee or somewhere you're comfortable. There's no formal sales pitch and no pressure - just a chance for us to chat, get to know each other and talk about what you're looking for.
We'll discuss your plans, the things that matter most to you and any particular moments or photographs you'd love to have. I'll explain how I work and what you can expect from your booking.
Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable with me. By the time your day arrives, I don't want to feel like a stranger with a camera. I want to feel like someone you know and trust.
2. Plan & Prepare
The better we prepare, the more naturally your day can unfold.
Once everything is booked, I'll make sure the important details are in place. I'll confirm any permissions or photography requirements with the relevant people and make sure I've understood exactly what you'd like from your coverage.
As the date gets closer, we'll have one final catch-up - usually a couple of weeks beforehand - to run through the details and make sure nothing has been missed.
The aim is simple: you enjoy your day, while I take care of the photography.
3. Capture & Deliver
Then it's time to enjoy the moment.
On the day, I'll be there to capture everything naturally — from the moments you've planned to the ones you didn't know were happening.
I'll engage with you and your guests, keep things relaxed and positive, and step in when a little direction is needed. Otherwise, I'll let the day unfold and quietly capture it as it happens.
And you won't have to wait weeks to see anything.
Your first 20 highlights will be sent to you on the same day, giving you a little taste of what's to come. Your full, professionally edited gallery will then follow within approximately 4-6 weeks.
From the first conversation to the final photograph, I'll be there to make the whole experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.

FAQ
What kind of photography do you offer?
Quite a lot, actually! Weddings, live music, festivals, markets, sporting events, parties, community events, portraits, family shoots and even product photography. If you have something happening that you'd like captured, get in touch and we can work out what you need.
How do I book you?
Just get in touch. We can have a chat about what you're planning, when you need me and what you'd like captured. For larger bookings, I like to arrange an informal meeting or coffee so we can get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit. Once we've agreed the details, I'll take care of the rest.

Do I need to know how to pose?
Absolutely not.
In fact, I'd much rather you didn't worry about it! I prefer natural photographs and genuine moments, so I'll give you direction when it's useful but won't spend the whole time telling you where to stand.
You be yourself - I'll take care of the photographs.
Can I request specific photographs?
Of course. Before your event, I'll make sure I know about any particular people, moments, group photographs or details that are important to you. Whether that's a family photograph at a wedding, a particular performer at a festival or a specific product you need photographed, I'll make sure it's on my radar.
What if I need something that isn't listed on your website?
Just ask.
I don't believe photography needs to fit neatly into a list of packages. Every event, person and project is different, so if you have an idea that isn't mentioned here, get in touch and tell me about it.
I'll work with you to find an approach that suits you, your plans and your budget.
